With the last 15-a-side match of the season done and dusted it's time to step into the sevens light! Yep hard ground, (some) sunny weather and flying insect things mean only one thing! It's 7s season!

As is tradition, we're heading to Kinsale this weekend (look out Cork) and while some fancy footwork or space creation might seem like the right thing to be thinking about now, we've decided to post something about what really matters- the try scoring celebration!



Digby Ioane's celebration is jaw dropping and inspirational- but perhaps a little out of our league!

So when we saw this- Rene Ranger's take on Digby's celebration - we thought we had found our middle ground- fun, hilarious, but not requiring years of break dance training! And it employs something very close to all Mary's girls hearts- teamwork!

So if you're down around Kinsale this weekend, have a look out for the girls in blue doing the spinning top!
And don't worry, we'll have some real sevens skills next time!
